Just as Capital Battleships from WWI had their day and were replaced by carriers in WWII it is time to realise that carriers have had a good run and its now time to stop the indecent amounts spent on these monstrosities and look forwards with more adept platforms. “Forward Projection” is a slick phrase which directly relates to threats with menaces as the most recent attacks on Yemen demonstrate. The world is sick of the US and its countless wars, coups, murders, torturing and millions of civilian deaths and these carriers are so easily sunk without nuclear weapons no matter what the so called experts tell you. Both China and Russia have many more ships with hypersonic and weapons like the DF21 or “Carrier Killer” as well as torpedos of exceptional destructive capabilities and its US arrogance in their current approach that will guarantee their failure. Remember the Falkland Islands attacks with ships sunk with sub sonic Exocets and consider this was back in the early 80s.

Maybe so, but a hit on the island or a hole in the deck could knock it out of action.
